Another Song and a Class

I heard a song about a week before I went to the conference last month and it has been in my head day and night. It just resonates with the season I am in but also gives me encouragement and hope. I made a fold-out page for my art journal in order to fit the whole song on a single page. I'm also using this page for The Embellishing Edges class I'm taking with Valerie Sjodin.

This is a work in progress as I go through the class. Next steps are filling in some of the areas of wording with paint and adding embellishments along the edges of the pages. It was a blast to make!

    I don't think I know this song, but the words are amazing. I love the colours you have chosen and your books looks great too.

    Oh, I love Valerie Sjodin's work! I look forward to seeing how the page progresses.

    Have just found your blog (through Balzer Designs blog) and LOVE what I am seeing. I have so many ideas floating in my head when I hear my favorite Christian songs. This is actually one I have been thinking a lot about lately as my husband has been ill and the effects it is having on our family (2 1/2 year old son). I keep telling him that we will make it through this and I keep going back to the music that encourages me and inspires me. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with art and faith.
