Lately...

In my last post I showed this little sneak peak:

I am so excited to share that I have been asked to do a guest post for Bernice Hopper for an art journaling challenge she is hosting in May called "The Art of Practising Gratitude". Join the fun! Here is a link to Bernice's challenge page: http://practisinggratitude2014.blogspot.co.uk/
Bernice has quite a few art journal artists lined up to do guest posts. My post will be live on May 16.

My expanding Documented Life Project journal:

I started working on these new altered book binder journals last week:

The bottom journal will be my second Documented Life Project journal. I'm keeping with the dictionary theme. The top journal is for everyday journaling. I am taking step by step pictures to make the tutorial/mini class I spoke of before. It's time consuming, but it is coming along nicely! I so appreciate all the wonderful comments, questions and requests for instructions from my fellow DLP members. Thank you all! I hope to have it done in the next few weeks.

My most recent DLP pages:

Week 18 Challenge: An Inspirational Quote
We traveled south to WV this weekend for the wedding of our youngest niece. She was a beautiful bride. We stayed in a resort in the hills overlooking a beautiful wide river. Spring is further along down there and it was so good to see green trees and flowers. It is just starting in our neck of the woods. A late spring following the endless winter! What a year this has been! Hoping you all have a great week!

  1. I LOVE your blog, adore your handmade journals, and am enjoying seeing all of the awesome work on DLP on FB! (I've fallen woefully behind, so I'm afraid I'm just a spectator at this point). Still loving it all. Best to you!

    Blessings,

  2. Looking forward to seeing your guest post. I always fall behind and never finish Bernice's challenges, but I am hoping this one will help me do more with my 100 happy days photos than post them on fb.

  6. Thanks for sharing the information about Bernice's 30 days of gratitude challenge. It is one that I want to participate in. I look forward to your post! Are you familiar with or read Ann Voskamp's book "One Thousand Gifts". It changed my life! There now is an app where you can just record your gratitudes on your smart phone. Although I like the visual journal most of the time. Thanks for sharing your gift of creativity with all of us who come across your blog or posts on the Documented Life Facebook page :)
